EU adapter

EU adapter plug for Type F wall sockets with EU standard. This adapter does not work in Switzerland and Italy.

The adapter plug makes it possible to connect your Earthingpeople products to the earth of the electrical outlet. The adapter has 3 sockets so that you can connect 3 different products to it. We recommend that you first test the earth with an ground tester. If the ground tester gives an OK, you can then plug in the cord from your Earthingpeople product  We currently do not have any ground testers for sale, but they are usually available in electronics stores.

Adapter for electrical outlet. In most countries it is acceptable to connect earthing products with a special adapter plug to the ground connection of the electrical system. This method works in most European countries and in North America but is not recommended in Sweden and Albania as these 2 countries have had TN-C (Terra Neutral Common), or 4-wire systems installed in older houses. In a TN-C system the earth and the neutral phase are connected together in the fuse box with a bridge coupling. In TN-C systems the ground port can contain an electrical voltage that is harmful to the body. In countries that have TN-S systems (Terra Neutral Separate), the ground is completely separated and goes to a separate ground rod or buried ground plate.  In these countries you can earth yourself via the electrical outlet.

The Type F adapter works in the following countries: Azores, Bosnia, Bulgaria, Cape Verde, Finland, France, Greece, Iceland, Italy, Croatia, Luxembourg, Madeira, Monaco, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, Germany, Hungary and Austria.
