The US government have introduced a 15% cusoms fee for imports from the EU and they demand that the seller pays the fee in advance. Our shipping company, PostNord, pays the fee intially and bills us afterwards.

This means that we have to add 15% to the price on all orders from the USA. The customs duties are automatically added in the shopping basket and also posted separately on your receipt.

In most countries the customer is billed for the customs duties before they can take delivery of their order.

The original manufacturer of silver-based earthing sheets, Earthing.com in the USA, stopped manufacturing cotton sheets with silver thread in 2016. The reason was that they do not have a long enough functional life. The untreated silver thread oxidizes far too quickly when exposed to sulphur from sweat and skin oils and the sheet can stop working within a short time. Skin creams also contain a lot of different substances that oxidize silver. Even the wrong detergent can destroy the silver threads. Another problem with that design is that the contact between the black rubber patch, where the push button is located, and the silver threads can disappear long before the silver threads have time to oxidize. It is an inferior solution. The cords can also stop working due to poor quality so they also need to be tested regularly. We know from experience when we started Earthingpeople in the spring of 2011 as a distributor for Earthing.com in the USA and sold this type of sheet for 5 years before we gave up on them. In the last 2 years of selling the original sheets we had over 90 returns.

Nowadays there are lots of unscrupulous companies that sell cheap Chinese pirated copies of the original sheets very expensively. All these sheets with 3-10% silver thread come from China. Such a sheet will give good effect as long as it works but it is difficult to determine when it stops working. Therefore we cannot recommend these sheets if you want a good quality sheet that will give you grounding for many years. It is a waste of resources and your money.

If you have a copy sheet from China, we strongly recommend that you test both the sheet and the cords with a product tester or a multimeter after each wash to see if it still works. If the sheet has stopped working, you will not get any health benefits at all and can just throw it away and buy a new one.

We were a distributor for Earthing.com in the USA between 2011-2016, but since they did nothing about the problems with poor quality in their products, we started a new collaboration with Better Earthing in Australia. A company that focuses on quality products. First, we introduced the Evolution earthing sheet with 50% silver thread that was treated against oxidizing and 50% Tencel. Then came the Premium sheet with 20% stainless filaments woven into Tencel and antibacterial zinc fiber. That fabric then developed into Premium v2+ , which is a very strong and durable fabric with 35% fibers of medical stainless steel. Together we continue the development of earthing sheets by researching and testing new materials and designs in our quest to create the best products with the longest warranties, precisely because we care about the quality, durability and lifespan of what we sell. In July we launched a new website on the Shopify platform to make it easier and safer for both you, the customers, and us as store owners.

Those of you who use Facebook have probably noticed that there are a whole bunch of companies marketing Chinese made grounding sheets with silver thread. These are run by people with no experience in grounding but an eye for quick money. Buying a sheet from China for 10 € and selling it for 150 € gives a massive profit, completely without morals or ethics. Most of them use drop-shipping where they take your money but the products are shipped from China.

If you're thinking of buying Chinese sheets with silver thread, go directly to Ali Express and order the same sheets there for a tenth of the price. They are made in the same factories.

On their sites they lie outright about having spent years of research and product development to be able to produce the best products. All they have done is order stuff from China (AliBaba), get a Shopify page and start selling. The amount of lies on some of these pages are staggering. Always check if they have an address and a telephone number. If not, don't buy!

Jens at Aroniabutiken in Sweden has written a nice article in Swedish about grounding in their new Aroniabutiken Magazine. Compared to the US and England, there is too little written about grounding in Swedish newspapers so this is a welcome addition.

Today, you can find so-called objective tests in Sweden on which grounding sheets are best on some newly started sites that call themselves "Xtremefit", "Product Guide" and "Bitg".

Previously, there were "The Body Expert", "Best Products" and "Best in Test guide", but they seem to have disappeared overnight — which shows what a scam company they are.

All of these so-called test sites have only tested Chinese pirate copies of Clint Ober's original design.

Not including Earthingpeoples sheets in such tests shows that the sites are not serious, as it was Earthingpeople who introduced earthing in Sweden in 2011 and today is the only serious company on the market, apart from Better Earthing in Australia and the original Earthing in the USA. Everyone else sells Chinese knock-off copies, no matter how much they lie on their websites. Some call their Chinese copies "original", "the world's best", "patented silver thread" and more.

The so-called "testers" who wrote the tests have no knowledge of the market and therefore cannot be considered credible.

It is obvious who paid the "testers" to recommend their products, as all the tested sheets come from a few factories in China and there is no difference between the sheets other than how much silver thread they contain, whether it is organic cotton or not, and some are dyed gray.

The one company that almost always comes in as Nr 1 in the tests is probably the company who paid for the tests. It is a very dishonest form of marketing. The other sheets tested come from completely unknown companies that are only available on Amazon.

There is a very good reason why Clint Ober stopped making sheets with 3–4% silver thread in 2016 when he realized it was a bad design.

They could stop working quite quickly due to oxidation of the silver threads due to sulphur in sweat and skin oils, chemicals in skin creams, and the wrong detergent. Additionally, the design with a rubber patch with a snap button sewn into the fabric is a substandard construction, where the contact between the rubber patch and the sheet often disappears before the sheet oxidizes.

If the sheet is not conductive, it will not provide any health benefits, so it is important to check the conductivity after each wash with a product tester or multimeter.

In these uncertain times with viruses, it's worth reminding yourself how grounding can greatly strengthen your immune system. Whatever you do to protect yourself, make sure to sleep grounded every night and try to ground yourself as much as possible during the day.

Earthing reduces inflammation and pain, improves sleep for most, calms the central nervous system, helps normalize stress hormones, protects cells from low-frequency EMF, and improves blood flow. All of these effects strengthen the body and the immune system.

If you have a cough, the Earthing Institute in the US recommends placing an electrode patch on each side of your chest over your lungs, about 15cm below your collarbones and 5cm out from your breastbone. You may experience rapid improvement as grounding reduces inflammatory activity in your lungs.

There is no research on this particular method, but feedback from people over many years suggests that this is an effective help.

Experts have described the presence of "cytokine storms" in patients with severe coronavirus symptoms and other flu. Cytokines are proteins produced by the immune system to help the body defend itself against an infection. In order to reduce an infection, the body can produce too many cytokines, creating a "cytokine storm." Too much of a good thing, you might say.
Excessive levels of cytokines can trigger systemic inflammation, pneumonia and acute respiratory distress.

The powerful anti-inflammatory effect of grounding, where the body absorbs free electrons directly from the earth, can be especially helpful for respiratory problems but also other health problems where inflammation is involved.

Our friend Dr. Bruce Lipton reminds us that fear and stress weaken the immune system so avoid fear and take it easy to keep your immune system in shape.

Then Anders Olsson at Conscious Breathing comes with an important reminder about breathing through your nose. This filters out 75% of viruses, bacteria and other unpleasantness. This does not happen when you breathe through your mouth.

A study from Basrah University in Iraq on 59 people with Covid 19 published in December 2020 has shown some pretty amazing results for already sick people. All showed significant improvements after grounding just 3 days of 15 minutes to 3 hours per day. One patient had spectacular improvements in blood oxygenation from 38% to 95%.

Watch this short film about a doctor who takes a live blood sample from a woman and then asks her to go outside and stand barefoot on the ground for 10 minutes. When she comes back in, he takes another blood sample and compares the blood before and after grounding by showing it on a large screen. Having normal blood where no red blood cells clump together is hugely important for health. In Sweden it is a bad idea to publish customer experiences on the same website that you are selling a health related product from as we have a strong lobby againt it. However we have introduced customer reviews on our site since 2025 and we encourage our customers to write about how earthing have helped them in order for other people to get an idea of how earthing can help.

Get grounded with ESD (ElectroStaticDischarge) shoes outdoors when you don't want to go barefoot. ESD shoes work well to ground yourself when you're out walking or working. They are made for industry, electronics companies, healthcare and other workplaces where static electricity can have a devastating effect.

Just remember that you are not grounded just because you have your shoes on, you have to stand on the ground outside to be grounded. Asphalt is insulating except when wet after a rain so it's soil, grass, gravel, water, wet sand that counts.
