Ground clamp for water pipes

Ground clamp to attach to metal water pipes to a water filled heating radiator, kitchen or bathroom faucet water pipe

If you live in an apartment building above the second or third floor and cannot use the ground rod into the ground, the clamp is the best option. The ground clamp has a sleeve with a screw where you attach the male connector to the product cord that comes with all our products. You scrape off the paint on the pipe so that there is only pure metal where the ground clamp is to be placed. It is important that there is good contact between the clamp and the pipe. Screw the ground clamp onto the pipe and then insert the cord's male connector into the sleeve and tighten the screw with your fingers. If the clamp is too large, it is okay to put a nut, screw, nail or any object in between so that it fits tightly Aluminum foil also works well. It is okay to paint both the ground clamp and the pipe, but just make sure not to get paint in the sleeve.

NOTE! We stock 4 sizes of ground clamps . Please note that the specified size is the smallest size. The clamps expand to the next size, so for example a 15 mm clamp starts at 15 mm and expands to 19 mm. Make sure to order the size you want after checking the diameter of the pipe where the clamp is to be attached. The easiest way to check the diameter is with a vernier caliper, otherwise you can measure the circumference of the pipe and divide by 3.14. An easy way to measure the circumference is to use a strip of paper that is wrapped around the pipe. Mark with a pencil where the end meets the strip and then check with a ruler what the circumference is and then calculate the diameter.

If you want to connect multiple products to the same ground terminal, that's fine. There are both a T-splitter with 2 outlets and a 4-way connector with 4 outlets available for purchase.
