Ground rod with 15 m cord

Regular price €2537 EUR
Tax included Shipping calculated at checkout.
For all our earthing products we have a 30 cm stainless steel rod with 15 meters of cord as a safe and effective way to create contact with the earth. Another option is to use metal water pipes to create ground contact. See the ground clamp for more information.

The ground rod is pushed into the ground about 30 cm from the foundation of the house where the ground is moist. If the ground is frozen, remove the plastic sleeve from the metal rod and bang the rod into the ground with a hammer. Do not hit the plastic sleeve, as this will break it. The cord is pulled in through a window or door to the place where you want to connect your grounding product. The cord does not break when you close the window, it consists of a plastic-coated stainless steel wire. From the end of the ground wire, you then connect the cord from the sheet, pad or other product. At the end of the cord, you can put a T-splitter or 4-way splitter so that you can connect several products at the same time, if you like..

The ground cord should be attached to the facade up to the window. If it is a wooden facade, you can use small plastic cable clips that can be purchased at most electrical stores and also in grocery stores. It is also possible to run the ground cord along a downpipe and attach it with cable ties or strong tape. Always attach the cord so that it cannot be damaged or broken. Adhesive or hot melt glue are also useful materials for attaching the cord. It is advisable to attach the cord to the corner of the window frame with a few small cable clips. In a wooden frame, you can make a small groove with a screwdriver to pull the cord through.

Please note that our products use 4 mm male and female connectors. All other manufacturers use 4.7 mm male and female connectors. If you need to connect products not sold by Earthingpeople, you will need to purchase a reverse adapter cord for each product.
